Bio - Doug & Terber Storer

We have been ABATE Members for the past 22 years. We attended our first ABATE State Rally in 1990 and haven't missed one since. It's our favorite weekend of the year. Doug got his first bike from Minnesota. It was a 1971 Super Glide, kick start only. He wishes he still had it. Had to sell it to buy a pick up! Doug’s next bike was a 1979 Wide Glide and we also have a 1976 Electra Glide. My favorite ride is our new one - a 2006 Custom Ultra Classic.

We have two boys that are 22 and 20 and we have a grand baby due sometime in September.

Doug and I have been ABATE Reps for at least 12 years. One event that we hold is our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. We all get together to stuff over 6,000 eggs and the kids take less than 15 minutes to find them. The kids get to keep the candy inside the eggs and we give out bicycles and big Easter baskets to several lucky winners.

We also hold an Annual Abate Toy Run in July each year. This is a great ride with a great cause, toys for kids in need at Christmas!! We are proud of the North Dakota Motorcycle Safety Program and encourage everyone that will listen to us to take it. We feel it is the best Motorcycle Safety Program in the States. We would like to thank the Rider Coaches for their dedication to teaching motorcycle safety.

We have meet a lot of friends at the ABATE State Conventions, the Rep/BOD Retreats and events. ABATE members are good people to know.

Our favorite rides are through the Scranton, Reeder, Ludlow, and Rhame areas. We like to ride and have lunch at these places. Through the Slim Buttes is really pretty country also. Reva has a little store that we like to stop at and there is a State Campground there. It's primitive, but a nice place to camp. You can also ride to Bowman Haley Dam and camp there. We are close enough to ride to the Black Hills and try to make a couple of trips each year.

Our most favorite ride ever is to the ND ABATE State Rally at Menoken Grove. We have made many friends there. Rain or shine we still have a blast.
